As more merchants embrace mobile payments, it’s become more and more important to accept non-card-based payment methods, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
At Curbstone, we’re responding to that demand with additional mobile payment functionality – including a recent Apple Pay certification through TSYS.
Having now completed the TSYS Add On Certification for Apple Pay on Web with Brand Tokens, the Curbstone payment processing platform offers merchants the option to process remote payments via Apple Pay. Tokenization prevents sensitive data from being processed, stored, or transmitted on the merchant’s systems, in turn reducing the amount of reporting and documentation they need to do to maintain PCI compliance.
“We’re excited to offer our merchants more modern payment processing options – especially as customers come to expect more flexibility in how they pay for goods and services,” explained Alan O’Guin, Curbstone’s Product Manager. “By expanding our platform to accommodate Apple Pay and other mobile payment methods, we’re giving our customers yet another tool in their toolkit. Our goal is to help them manage all their payments across all their channels – on a single solution – and this is another important step in that direction.”
